Salesforce Tour
February 6th, 2020
This Thursday, our chapter got the chance to tour the Salesforce Tower! We were able to meet with one of Salesforce’s Talent Specialists, as well as hear from a few full-timers about how their career paths and college backgrounds led them to Salesforce.
From the second we walked into the tower, our brothers were met with so much enthusiasm and hospitality from our hosts! During the presentation, were able to hear about all the work that Salesforce does to ensure that they are matching employees with their skill sets and interests, encouraging its employees to pursue volunteer opportunities in their communities, and adding value to each and every one of its Fortune 500/Fortune 100 clients. (It’s also worth mentioning that their snack areas are fully stocked with delicious snacks and get this: FREE COFFEE AND ICE CREAM!)
After the presentation concluded, we were shuttled down to the 5th floor, where we could see Salesforce Park, a public urban park nestled in the skyline of San Francisco. Towards the end of our tour, we were even able to meet the EVP of Sales at the company. All in all, this was such an amazing opportunity for our brothers to learn more about the internship and full-time opportunities available to us in the very near future.
Huge shoutout to our past Vice President of Professional Activities, Johann Hoppe, for putting this tour together! Enjoy some of our photos below!
